SIGQ was founded in 2003 to provide a forum where people interested in the history and development of railway signalling and safeworking systems, specifically as used in Queensland, could share information.
An ongoing research program is collecting any available information about railway signalling and safeworking systems that were used in Queensland, which can be shared with others also interested. We are always seeking loans or donations of:
* Photographs of signal cabins or signals.
* Diagrams of signalling layouts of Queensland stations.
* Old Train Notices.
* Old Circular Memos.
* Old Working Timetables.
* and anything else which helps to document the history and development of railway signalling and safeworking systems used in Queensland.
If you have anything which can assist our research please contact us using the Contact Form below.
